This weekend flew by!
It went much too fast for my liking, and I only had Sunday off. Please note that this is not a complaint. I work retail so having even one day off on the weekend is kind of a miracle, and Sunday is my favourite day of the week.
I don’t remember what I did Friday night. I’m pretty sure I worked until 7 pm, and then just watched YouTube videos until Scott got home at 10:30pm. Once Scott was home we watched Scrubs then went to bed (Yeah we’re cool for our age).
Saturday we both didn’t start work until the afternoon, so we had the morning to relax, and watch Scrubs. (We’re kind of binge watching it).
Once I was finished work I headed home to make a hot chocolate and creep the blog’s of those who joined Jemma’s girl gang. Hello to you all!
Scott wasn’t finished work until 11 (ew), and when he came home we ordered pizza because Dominos has 50% off pizza’s for the next week!
I was mega excited over late night pizza because it’s something we never do and while Scott was in the shower I couldn’t help but gaze longingly at the pizza and wish it didn’t smell so good because it was so hard to resist!
We had a few slices and then packaged the rest up for Scott to bring to work the next day.
Of course we spent the evening watching Scrubs.
Our original plan was to watch Hannibal because Netflix now has season 3, YAY!!! But since we didn’t plan on staying up late and knew that we would get addicted if we started Hannibal, we just had to stick to Scrubs.
On Sunday Scott had to work early and then he went to a friend’s house for a few hours that night (or tonight as I write this). I had no plans to leave the apartment and just wanted to blog all day. When I looked out the window I saw how the clouds were hanging over the city. How beautiful are they? I love the views from my apartment.
Of course that didn’t happen.
I ended up having to run out to do an errand, which led to me wandering around the city carrying a big carton of milk and burning my hand on the plastic bag, while looking like a not hot mess in sweats with a greasy bun.
My quick errand was not so quick, and in the end the bank I was walking to was closed, even though the guy on the phone said it was open. Damn you man on phone.
Once home I got cleaned up, had some Greek yogurt (I’m legit obsessed, yum) and made a pot of blueberry green tea. Also obsessed. If it wasn’t caffeinated it’s all I would drink.
Since then I have been spending the day drinking tea, blogging, and creeping other blogs. Now I’m about to cosy up in my Australia sweater that my host family got me as a going away present when I left Melbourne and re-read Philippa Gregory’s ‘The Lady of The Rivers’.
I don’t own all of her books, but I own nearly every book, and have read and re-read them all countless times. I just love Jacquetta, Duchess of Bedford, and her story. I love how Philippa Gregory brings to life these real people and events, in a fictional novel.
Now I’m off to enjoy some soup, ginger mint tea and reading, and prepare for a long day of errands and work tomorrow.
Have a great day/night everyone!
