I’m sat here snacking on chocolate, watching The Little Mermaid (having just finished Mulan) and I’m cuddling a hot water bottle because I feel like my uterus is trying to eat its way out of my stomach.
Fun day right?
It has now been a week of nonstop intense period cramps (though I have not had my period in over 2.5 years), which has led to my vomiting more than imaginable, and not able to eat much until late at night.
I haven’t gotten sick today and have managed to eat some chocolate and drink some tea, so I take that as a good sign.
I’m going to the doctors Thursday after work.
Two days to go!
Sorry for that bit of TMI, but I just needed to share, you know?
I’m at that point in my life where I’m super over having such bad pains every month without the period to show for it.
Most doctors tell me since I’m only 24 not to worry until I plan to have children. We know I have cysts on my ovaries, but there’s more to it.
Well, I’m not worrying, I’m getting angry. So my plan for Thursday is to demand to get a referral to a specialist.
From there who knows, but I’m going to try to get it all figured it.
Anyways, on to my Easter!
Scott and I both worked all weekend, so we never ended up doing an Easter dinner or anything.
However, I did make Scott do me an Easter egg hunt, because I’m practically 5.
Easter is and has always been my favourite holiday.
I’m not religious, I apologize in advance, so to me Easter is about chocolate, bunnies and bright colors!
After he came home Saturday night he put together the hunt! I know the Easter bunny wasn’t supposed to come until that night, but I worked early the next day, so the bunny made an exception for me 😉
He hid 18 eggs, and I found them all pretty quick.
He also got me a few awesome gifts!
Seriously how cute are they all?!?
I felt really bad because I ordered his gifts online. Only 1 out of 3 has arrived.
Girlfriend of the year award goes to…
So I gave him his gift that I had, that is a Wendigo from Hannibal Pop Vinyl.
I can’t wait until his other gifts arrive so I can give them to him!
The next day at work we had an Easter egg hunt. The managers hid 30 eggs around the store. I found four. These were what I got.
So cute. The bunny may already be gone…
I love Easter so much, and just thinking of it gets me so happy.
What did you all do?
I’m going to leave you with some more pictures!
