It is 5 pm on Thursday evening and man, am I tired. Ever since the daylight savings time put our clocks back an hour, I have been struggling with staying awake. It’s weird, when the clocks go back an hour has always been my favorite time of the year, but I had never felt the effects like this before.
Has that ever happened to any of you?
I love the early evenings, and live for the fall and winter seasons. I usually never feel so sleepy from the time changes though. And then come night time, I have been getting a second wind of energy and been finding it hard to fall asleep.
Super strange I think!
The reason that I chose this photo for my photo Friday instead of one from my travels is because of how much I love this time of year and how the coolness and sleepiness of this photo portrays exactly how the time change has been making me feel.
When I look at this photo, or the other photos I took that day, I can’t help but love them because of how they represent my two favorite seasons, but also feel a tad tired looking at them.
Do I sound crazy?
I love going for walks this time of year and hearing the leaves crunching beneath my feet. When I was walking around the other day and took this picture, I was in such a happy mood.
How could you not be happy with long walks in cool weather, wrapped up in scarves?
With always having pains in my stomach, exercise can cause more problems than good sometimes. But just going for long autumn and winter walks? The perfect light impact exercise, and the perfect excuse to explore more of your home and surrounding areas if you ask me 🙂
I love how grey the ground is in these photos. I love the cool tone these photos give off, instead of the typical warm tinted autumn photos I usually see.
I wish autumn didn’t have to end so I could be taking photos like these year round!
What is your favorite season?
Do you love the cooler weather as much as I do?
