Need I say more?
If you have been to Banff then you know that no, I do not need to say more.
If you haven’t been, then I am so sorry.
I am so sorry that you have not had the chance to experience this beautiful mountain town.
To me, Banff is the perfect place. You are close to a city. You are surrounded by huge mountains since you are located right in the (rightly so) famous Rocky mountains. You have more hiking trails than one could count. You are close to other small mountain towns (looking at you Jasper) and no matter where you look, you are dazzled. By the beauty, by the sweetness of the tiny town, by all of the shops that you want to check out, but how happy every one is.
Yes Banff is a tourist town.
But that is fine by me!
When coming to Vancouver Scott and I took a quick over night stop in Banff.
At first he didn’t think we needed to stop there. Silly boy. Read about that night here.
He immediately knew why I insisted.
Banff is such a gorgeous place. Every word that can possibly describe beautiful fits the description of Banff. All of the little shops along the street are too inviting, and we could have spent all day wandering about them.
Oh wait, we did.
Seriously, if you ever get a chance to go, do it!
Because I am dying to share, here are a couple more photos of the most gorgeous street in town.
Sorry for the awkward photo sizes, I stole a few of these from Scott’s old phone!!
So there it is. A street in the most stunning small town around.
