Hello all you lovelies. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I had a nice and relaxing one, with lots of food, coffee and catching up on TV shows and blog posts.
I like to always have a few blog posts written up so that way if I ever need to change things up a bit for whatever reason I am not in a panic. I just feel better knowing that there are a few posts ready and waiting to go at all times.
This post here is a little weekend recap for you. I didn’t do too much, but it was the perfect weekend in, which I am always a fan of!
On Friday night I decided to order Scott and I a pizza. We hadn’t had any in a while and we have never ordered Pizza Hut while here, so I went with that. Worst decision ever! I don’t live with regrets, but ordering that pizza is definitely one of them!
We waited an hour and a half for the pizza to arrive (when we order from Dominos it’s there within 20 minutes, so this was a long wait compared).
I ordered a half meat and half cheese. I am a vegetarian, I wrote that in the notes. I also wrote to please call me when the pizza arrives since my buzzer does not work.
They did not call, but the buzzer actually turned on so I could hear that they were there and go down to pay and grab the pizza.
I randomly decided to order fries because the picture looked delicious. They arrived very cold, covered in grease and complete mush. Ew.
The pizza was worse. All of the toppings were underneath the cheese, so even though we got it half and half we had to lift up all of the cheese to find out what was half and half, and there was actually meat all over the pizza, so I had to pick off meat from my cheese half. The cheese itself was burnt and black, yet the stuffed crust the cheese was not cooked. I’m not sure how that works?
When I went to give a review because they send you a survey after the order, the review would not take, so that was annoying.
And I paid way more than if I ordered from Dominos. OH well, I know for next time never to order from Pizza Hut again and stick to delicious Dominos 🙂
That night we watched Scott’s newest addiction, Pretty Little Liars!
Saturday Scott was at a friend’s and I spent all day having the best day ever basically.
Since it was October first that only meant one thing to me; HALLOWEEN TOWN DAY!
In July I purchased all of the Halloween Town movies. I have been watching them every year since I was a kid, but I don’t have cable and last year trying to find them all online proved difficult. So now I can watch them over and over 🙂
For breakfast I had my favorite, brown sugar oatmeal with PB, cinnamon and banana mixed in. So yummy! And really filling. I wasn’t hungry until dinner time.
For dinner I had some leftover stir fry that needed to be eaten up. I love making stir fry for dinner because it is healthy, filling and you can throw in whatever!
This one had rice, corn kernels, mini corn cobs, red peppers, broccoli heads and stems, snow peas, carrots, water chestnuts, sesame seeds and zucchini.
It was the perfect leftover dinner.
When Scott came home that night we watched an episode or two of Pretty Little Liars then headed to sleep.
On Sunday Scott went to work and I spent ALL day doing blog admin stuff and planning posts, taking photos, and starting a few post drafts. It was a long and successful day!
I once again had my delicious oatmeal and coffee breakfast and caught up on American Horror Story. I am absolutely loving this season so far! I admit I didn’t finish last season and wasn’t into the Freakshow season, but this season has me hooked. I love how it is linking actual historic events, and how it is a TV show within a TV show.
It is the first show in a very long time to make me jump, and make me turn on the lights after watching it! I watch horror movies all the time that do nothing to me, but I cannot get enough of AHS right now. I wish it was all out and I could just binge watch it. 43 minutes is not enough!
For dinner Sunday night I made us breakfast for dinner. Who else loves breakfast for dinner as much as I do?
I made Scott bacon, and me toast, and then both of us eggs and tater tots. YUMMY!
Do you watch AHS?
What about Halloween Town?
