Last week Scott and I both had a day off together, so we decided to use the day to go to Metrotown Mall in Burnaby and have a bit of a wander. We started the day in the food court. I got a Nando’s wrap, he got a Burger King burger, then off to shop we went!
We hit up Hot Topic, Old Navy, Kernel’s, and many other shops. But the most important shop of all?
The Disney Store!!
I forbade myself from buying anything. Sad for my soul, but good for my bank account. I had a pin delivery that morning so I already had some magic mail waiting at home. There was nothing at the Disney Store that I needed. Until Scott and I touched the Big Feet Marie plush.
I walked away from it, but Scott went back and bought her for me 😀
She is just the softest plush I have ever cuddled. Her big feet are so cute, and her giant eyes match her feet. She is the cuddliest plush there is. There was a Thumper to match her, but Marie has a special place in my heart.
Later we walked past an Anime shop. Inside were hundreds of Pop Funko’s on sale.
I found a Jack Torrance from The Shining that I showed Scott. He immediately had to buy it. (We love horror and have a small collection of horror Funko’s).
I have been wanting a Mulan Pop Funko for a while now, and when I saw her on sale I decided to get her to add to my collection! She looks lovely on my Disney shelf.
And here are the pins that I received!
I have been in love with the Adventure Is Out There pin collection since they were first released, but I didn’t know how to get them in Canada. Thanks to Becka (Disneykittee on YouTube) and her Facebook group, I discovered Jeni, who runs the Discount Disney Pin Trading Facebook page. She has sales on Disney pins every month and they are SUPER cheap.
I also got Ariel and Flounder, and Heimlich from A Bug’s Life. Heimlich is my favorite Pixar character.
Since I had no intentions of a Disney Haul, and hardly spent a thing, I think I did pretty well!
