You did it! You are halfway through the work week. Just two more sleeps until Friday morning, and then comes the weekend 🙂 Today is actually my first day back at work after six days off. I had Easter Friday off, and then the family at my Monday and Tuesday job were still on vacation, so I had a bit of an unintentional stay-cation. All right by me!
Looking at our weather forecast (are we sure I’m not British? I do love to talk about the weather as often as possible) I see we are in for another two weeks of rain. Ugh. I love rain, I really do, but I am ready for Spring.
I thought it would be fun and a little bit motivation if I shared a little happy Wednesday post. Because we all need some happy midweek thoughts as well, right?
- Watching all of the horror movies. I just posted the other day Our Latest Horror Haul. If you read that post then you know that we are always updating our movie collection, and lately it has been loads of horror movies that we’ve been adding. We have been spending the evenings watching lots of horror movies, and horror movies are my happy place, so I have been in a wonderful mood 🙂
- Seeing the cherry blossoms begin to bloom. Vancouver does seasons perfect. In summer there’s loads of sunshine. In autumn the leaves crunch and the temperature is lovely. In winter it doesn’t get too cold, but enough to layer clothes gorgeously. And Spring? The cherry blossoms everywhere bloom! They have just begun to bloom, so I cannot wait for the rain to go away so I can take some stunning new photos. Don’t worry, I’ll post loads on here.
- Thinking of travels. In June I will be going to New Brunswick to see my sister graduate high school, then going to see some land my parents purchased in Ontario. I love camping, so it will be fun. In end of September/early October I will be going back to Ontario for a wedding and then to visit family. Having flights booked is exciting!
- All of the fresh and in season produce. I love fresh produce. You can really taste the difference when you eat a vegetable that is in season versus one not in season. This time of year the grocery stores and markets begin to fill up with vegetables that turn my plate into the rainbow. I am loving it!
What things have been making you happy this Wednesday? Happy almost weekend!
