Last week my best friend who I lived with in university came to visit. We met when we were put together as room mates for our first year of university with two other girls. We ended up spending the next 4 years as room mates. Awe <3
The reason she came to visit was to see Beauty & The Beast, and she stayed for a few days to explore Vancouver with me!
There was however one down side for when she was here. Vancouver decided it would rain the ENTIRE TIME!
This was such a bummer since just a few weeks before Vancouver had been so full of sun and warm weather. I felt terrible that she was going to be greeted with rain and cold weather. She was coming from Toronto to escape the cold!
Luckily, on her last day visiting we awoke to sunshine!
We had plans to meet a friend at a bar to play some games later, but we decided to grab my boyfriend and his friend that we were supposed to meet up with later and go for a walk along the seawall that Vancouver is famous for.
I always thought that the seawall was only along Stanley Park. I didn’t realize that it extended so far down Vancouver. While walking the seawall I was even able to see the top of my apartment building in the distance!
While walking my friend and I kept commenting on how beautiful the apartment buildings along the seawall were and how we wished we could live there.
This building was one of my favorites!
I can imagine waking up every day, drinking coffee on the balcony and breathing in the salty air.
I was definitely romanticizing the building, but who wouldn’t?
Would you want to live there? I sure do!
