Me being the nosey little bugger that I am I love to watch WIAW (What I Ate Wednesday) YouTube videos and read the blog posts. I love getting new ideas from other’s meals and snacks, and creating my own recipes from the posts.
I never thought to share my own WIAW since what I eat everyday changes. Some days I wake up starving, others I won’t be hungry for a few hours.
But isn’t that the beauty of a WIAW? You never know what you’re going to get, or what you’re going to end up eating that day!
So I decided to track everything that I ate yesterday and share it all with you!
Yesterday I was just finishing off with a cold I randomly got over the weekend.
It was weird though, it didn’t feel like I had a cold, but I was very tired with little appetite, and had a bit of a sore throat and my voice was mostly gone. Seriously, I sounded terrifying when I spoke!
So since I still had little appetite I didn’t have breakfast right away. I made a coffee and had 2 bottles of water. (I’m not going to write out every bottle of water I had because I drink more water than necessary, think 14 bottles a day usually).
After I went for a walk to get some much needed fresh air, I purchased a lemon for my tea and an avocado for my soul.
Once home I made another coffee and made some avocado toast for a late brunch.
It was delicious as always!
Later I made a green tea with lemon and honey, and had a red delicious (my favorite!) apple in slices with peanut butter and cinnamon on top.
Around 4 pm I had a ginger tea with lemon and honey.
For dinner I made Uncle Ben’s broccoli cheesy rice and mixed in salsa. I still didn’t have much appetite so I didn’t want to cook something, and figured if I had to eat dinner it might as well be delicious cheesy rice!
I really wanted to put in spinach but unfortunately I was out and wasn’t going to run to the store just for a spinach craving.
For a night time snack I made my favorite. Popcorn!
I popped this on the stove and then added a pinch of salt, a tiny bit of butter to coat the kernels, hot sauce and nutritional yeast. Except I accidentally spilled the bag of nutritional yeast onto the popcorn, so there was way too much.
Still yummy though!
This was a delicious day of meals, and after feeling sick all week I felt very full up and satiated!
