So I’m writing this on July 27th, obviously way before my birthday. The reason for my writing this so early is because, since I will be visiting family on my actual birthday, Scott wanted to give me my gifts early.
I kept saying no, but since he was so excited, I finally agreed.
Dude had been begging me for days to give me the gifts.
I am known for being very difficult to give gifts to, because I rarely give any hints or ideas for what I want, because I feel awkward asking for things. I think he did pretty great though.
He gave me two gifts, both of which were SO me!
Texas Chainsaw Massacre is by far my favorite horror franchise! I have only seen the two latest remakes, both of which I have watched over and over. I am one of those people who love horror movies and learning about real life serial killers.
Fun fact: When this movie originally came out, it was advertised as a true story to gain interest. People found it terrifying! It eventually came out that it was not a true story, but lightly based off of Ed Gein. Google him. This movie is often referred to as one of the scariest horror movies of all time.
I didn’t find it scary, but it just goes to show you what we are used to seeing in this era. This movie would have been terrifying if it were happening in real life, but now with horror movies we are used to seeing every gory detail, and often times, worse. Even though I wasn’t scared, I still LOVED IT, and now plan on collecting all of the others.
My other gift from Scott was this scuba diver tea infuser. Seriously, how adorable is this?!?!
I drink at least three cups up tea a day, and my tea infuser from David’s tea is shit. This one is perfect! No loose leaves were in my mug afterwards.
I love these gifts as they were both so thoughtful, and so me 🙂
