I don’t know about you, but I become obsessed with my day planner every year. It makes me so happy every time I get to write something new in it, and I just love decorating it with pretty colors and stickers. It is so fun!
This week I received my new 2017 day planner and immediately fell in love. It is much thicker than my 2016 one, and came with loads of cute little stickers. I actually still had lots of stickers from last year so now I have so much fun stuff to decorate my day planner with!
I go through phases with day planners.
I’m either absolutely obsessed (most of the time) or don’t write in it.
This year one of my goals is to write something in my journal every single day. So far I’ve been killing it 🙂
So what I’ve done so far is every day I want to write down what I ate for dinner.
I used to write down everything that I ate when I was younger and found it so helpful for being mindful with my body. I plan to start doing that again, but as I am a bit forgetful I think I’m just going to start with writing down what I had for dinner each day.
I usually only eat a few different meals for breakfast and lunch anyways, so chances are during the day I either had oatmeal, fruit, salad or soup.
I also have it written in my day planner that at the beginning of every month I’m going to write down all of my social media numbers.
I feel like this will help me with seeing what people like to see, and how interactive I am being.
And lastly, every time I publish a blog post I’m going to write it down in my day planner so I can keep track of which post was published when.
I’m sure as the year goes on I’ll come up with more ideas of what to write in my planner, but I think this is a good, productive start!
