I have a confession. I love make up and all that jazz, but am not too good at doing it myself. I love watching tutorials on YouTube and browsing the aisles in the drugstores. But going glam myself? Not so much. I just don’t have the skills.
I remember when I was younger trying to apply false lashes on myself. Haha! What a bad time. I could not apply them on myself whatsoever, and they made my eyes itch and water.
My bad for choosing cheap lashes.
I got an email from a brand called Esqido not too long ago asking if I was interested in trying out some of their mink lashes. I was very interested. Mink? Obviously not cheap quality that would make my eyes turn to mush. However, I was still nervous. I kept thinking back to my previous times trying to use false lashes and how terribly I had failed.
In the end though temptation won out.
I got some lash glue, the Starlet lashes, and the BFF lashes.
Okay guys, I knew that there were some amazing quality false lashes out there, but just look at these! Are they not so pretty?
And soft. Touching them is so soft.
I have another confession. I am still not good at applying lashes to myself. I spent so much time on different occasions trying to put these on myself. I cut them down to size, used makeup, used tweezers, used my fingers. I just cannot get the lashes on myself and make them look good.
I was feeling pretty down about my being unable to do them on myself. But then Scott and I decided for me to try applying them to him.
I was actually good at it!
Maybe I’m no pro, but just look at how good I did! Putting them on myself I had them all over my eye. Putting them on him was so easy, and I was able to apply them on him right away.
My boyfriend got more glamed up than me. By the way, he kept saying how soft and high quality they were!
Fun Friday night with Scott!
Just because I could not successfully apply these lashes to myself does not mean that I won’t keep trying! The quality of these Esqido Mink Lashes are truly incredible. Neither mine nor Scott’s eyes got irritated or watered. They blend into your own lashes seamlessly, and look incredible.
I am so grateful to Esqido for sending me these to try out, and to Scott for allowing me to work some magic on him, and being my test model. Thanks guys!
Have you ever used false lashes?
Do you think you would try out these beauts?
