2016 was not my favorite year, that’s for sure.
But I did get to go visit family in New Brunswick, I walked on the ocean floor at Hopewell Rocks, pretend to be Anne of Green Gables while visiting PEI, got to visit family that I haven’t seen in two years in Ontario, went whale watching, had a super fun visit in Vancouver with the in-laws and got some incredible blog opportunities that I did not expect.
I walked the same trails that Lucy Maud Montgomery walked, I pretended to be Snow White and sang into a well where L.M.M’s house used to be.
I said good bye to one of my great grandmothers, which was heartbreaking.
I took my 25th flight.
I got my first hangover in 3 years.
While 2016 wasn’t the best year, it was still a relatively good year.
But I am so ready to bring on 2017 tonight!
I don’t have many plans. Just having a friend over with Scott and I, snacking on Jalapeno poppers, mozza sticks, some Orville popcorn, and watching movies is our big plans. Yeah, we are die hard party animals 😉
Let’s make 2017 our best year yet!
