I am actually writing this before my birthday. The date, in fact, is July 20th. I’m trying to be on the ball and have posts pre-written so that way I can just schedule a bunch in advance.
The reason for this being is that on the 29th of July I’ll be going to New Brunswick to visit my parents, sister and animals. So while you’re reading this, I’ll already be there!
And even though now I’m planning to have as much content pre scheduled as I can so I can focus on just exploring New Brunswick and relaxing while there, chances are I’ll end up getting excited over something and end up blogging anyways!
But you never know, so I’ll just write some posts now!
So anyways, yay it’s my birthday!
To be honest I’m not thrilled over turning 25. I’m not a quarter of a century! Which I know is still a baby to many, but to me I’m no longer that close to my amazing teen years, and now I’m closer to thirty.
Which I know is still young. But I never imagined my life after age 23, so now I’m kinda like, what do I do now?
I thought that by age 25 I would be married, trying for kids, and have my student loans paid off.
None of those are true…
I like the way my life has turned out, but I hate the uncertainty. Like, I don’t even know where I’ll be a month from now, let alone 5 years from now.
Am I even making sense?
I hope so.
So for this day, my quarter of a century birthday, the big old 25, I will be happy and grateful for all that I have, and try not to freak out over the future.
Happy birthday to me!
Happy birthday, Brooklyn! I definitely understand where you’re coming from. Things are not the same as i thought they’d be and Im not in the position i thought id be either at my age. Such is life! Enjoy your day!
Thanks Heather, it was an awesome day!
