It’s cherry blossom season in Vancouver again! AKA, my favorite time to be outside taking photos. While autumn is by far my favorite season, it makes me so happy being outside taking photos of all of the gorgeous cherry blossoms that are in bloom all over the city.
Nearly a year ago I wrote my first post dedicated to cherry blossom season in Vancouver. I was just re-reading that post and looking at all of the photos that I took last year. I must say, I was much luckier with the weather last year. It was all sunshine and pink blossoms everywhere. This year it has been quite rainy, with sunshine peaking through at random times through out the day before hiding again behind a rain cloud.
I don’t have quite as many sunny cherry blossom photos this year, but I still wanted to share with you the ones I do have because I think that even in the rain, a cherry blossom tree is a sight to behold! You just can’t dim that beautiful bright pink, even if mother nature wants to try.
Don’t these photos just make you so happy?! They brighten my mood immensely. I have been that person walking around with my camera out just trying to find the perfect angle around a cherry blossom tree, while trying not to look like a crazy person.
I just wish that they lasted longer each year. I feel like they come up so quickly and then are gone again just as quick. Ah well, I have something beautiful to look forward to each year! I’m already excited to see them next year.
