January was a bit of an interesting month for me. I finished one job that I loved, began another that I already think I will love a lot, watched a lot of movies, read more than I have in a while, and was sick for most of the month.
While most people complained that January lasted forever, I can’t help sitting here wondering just where the month went. That could be because while sick I slept away several days (seriously, one day I went to bed at 11:30 pm, woke up at 1:15 pm, was up for 45 minutes, than slept again until just after 5 pm. And I was still so tired).
Now that I’m finally feeling better I’m getting back to my usual self. Yay!
This month I only posted two blog posts – when I’m sick I’m not writing, it just doesn’t happen.

Books Read
Just two, but focusing on words while sick is hard.
Mustache Shenanigans: Making Super Troopers and Other Adventures in Comedy, by Jay Chandrasekhar. I loved this book! I’m a huge Broken Lizard fan, and watched several Broken Lizard movies this month also, so reading all of those behind the scenes facts has been a lot fun.
Crash and Burn, by Artie Lange. I actually bought this book for Scott for Christmas, but since he’s reading something else at the moment, I grabbed it to read! This is comedian Artie Lange’s second book, and if you read the first then you know how in depth he goes into his life. Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I want to slap him for the things he’s done, but he owns up to it all, and I respect that.
