Hello and Happy Sunday! It’s no secret that Sunday is my favorite day of the week. Today my plans are to grocery shop, meal prep, eat yummy food, and watch YouTube videos and maybe finally catch up on Game of Thrones! I’d love to say that I’ll be going outside to lay by the pool, but 32 degrees is way too hot for me to lay in the sun. I’ve been really busy lately and realized that we haven’t had a chatty post in a while, so let’s catch up!
A couple of weeks ago I started a second job! For those who don’t know, I am a nanny and have been working 9-10 hour days Wednesday to Friday. I love that job, but come Monday I was slightly bored and by Tuesday I was ready to go.
So I decided to look for a second job to fill out my week. I was fine with either one of two days, and I was lucky enough to find an amazing family to work for on Monday and Tuesday. Seriously, both families I work for are incredible, I am very happy with both jobs. The adorable kiddos help to!
So now I’m working Monday to Friday, 48-50 hours a week. Which sounds like a lot but I love both jobs and it doesn’t feel like “work”. I hate getting up in the mornings, but once I’m up all is great!
The only downside is that it doesn’t leave much time for blogging. But once I’m more into a routine I’m sure things will get easier with blogging.
The good side? Now I can pay down my debt faster and have a fund for all of my Disney and horror purchases!
Things I’ve been loving
- Sweet potato and black bean burgers. I’m going to post the recipe this week sometime, but I follow YouTuber Maddie Lymburner and have been trying out some of her recipes. These ones are awesome!
- Ash VS Evil Dead season 2. It’s hokey, it’s horror, it’s perfect. I love the movies and season 1, and season 2 is so good so far! We see some back story into Ash and his hometown.
- Terminator 2: Judgement Day. I took Scott and I on an impromptu date last night after we found out that the small, old school theatre close to us was playing it. I love how they always have old movies playing and we try to go see them. I have never seen the original Terminator movies, only the Terminator Genisys from 2015, which I really liked. Getting to see Terminator 2 in theatres AND 3D was amazing! I loved the experience so much!
So that is my little catch up with you all. I hope everything is going great for all of you, and I can’t wait to share more with you 🙂
