It’s September! This is the time of year where I really start to feel inspired, and dream of all things cozy. I feel inspired to chase my goals and just generally feel happier this time of year.
I love how in September we start turning on the fairy lights earlier, have the dark nights come quicker, have pumpkin candles burning, have hot cozy meals (my favorite pick, chili!) and lots of time cuddled up in warm blankets.
This time of cozy year means cuddles under the blankets with the TV on to our favorite movie or TV shows.
I compiled a list of the best TV and movies to get cozy to, for your perfect September night in. So let’s enjoy these earlier, chillier nights. It only leads to better things, aka, October!
Let’s Get Cozy – September Nights In
- Gilmore Girls
- The Harry Potter Movies
- Gossip Girl
- Brooklyn 99
- Bones
- The Office
- When Harry Met Sally
- Elementary
- You’ve Got Mail
- Lord of the Rings Trilogy
- The Nightmare Before Christmas
- Sleepless in Seatlle
- Sleepy Hollow
- The Rocky Horror Picture Show
There are plenty more that are better geared towards October. Maybe I’ll share a list then as well. In the mean time, light a candle, make yourself some chili (if you need a yummy recipe, here is one! Vegan unless you substitute the fake meat for real), turn on some fairy lights, get under a blanket and enjoy!
What are your favorite cozy night in movies or TV shows?
I’m always in two minds about this time of year. I love the colours of autumn, but I don’t like the cold and the winters in the UK seem to last for 6 months! I do love a cosy night in though π
I used to live in Ontario where winters were brutal. Now living in Vancouver it’s not too cold and it is bearable, so I appreciate the seasons so much more!
When Harry Met Sally is my favourite! Gilmore Girls is always a classic too. I love summer so much, but I do love fall too. Itβs the months of snow coming up Iβm not as into π
I used to live in Ontario where snow would be taller than me, so now being in Vancouver where it rarely snows, is way better! I do miss the snow though because it’s so pretty!
