Last week Scott and I had Thursday off together. We had such a fun day! We explored The Disney Store (he stopped me from buying everything I picked up), I got a new backpack from HomeSense, he got some new clothes from Old Navy, a new hat from Lids, and we went to our favorite comic book shop.
After our shopping we went to the 5th Ave Cinemas, which is a 19+ theatre, to see The Shape of Water. Guys, it was such a beautiful film. I felt like I was in a proper theatre watching a play, it was like art was happening in front of me. Highly recommend!
Before heading home we stopped at the New India Buffet, a place we’ve been meaning to go to. 10/10 recommend. The food was incredible, we both got to try many new dishes, and we both enjoy Indian cuisine. It was great.
Perfect day was had!
But I realized I needed to show you my little Disney haul!
Like I said, Scott made me put so many things back. Actually, I’m going to the Disney store unsupervised this Saturday and I’m a touch nervous. We’ll see how well I handle myself 😉
There were a few things I just could not leave without though, and thankfully there was a major sale going on, so I got some great prices!
Dumbo! I have been wanting this Dumbo plush for about two years now, but he is so expensive. I am 26 and always feel like I can’t justify spending so much money on a plush. However, due to the sale he was only $13! Thank goodness for Scott spotting the sign saying his discounted price because I actually put him back and went to walk away!
The sweater. Okay so I had about 4 shirts in my arms. I wanted them all but knew we were going to be out for the whole day, so I decided to pick just one.
I chose this sweater because it is currently Minnie Rocks The Dots going on, and we all need more Minnie in our lives. This sweater is over sized, warm, cozy and so cute!
These pins. I am newly addicted to pin collecting. I thought living in Canada it would be hard to get pins, and it’s true that it is. I follow some Instagram accounts that sell pins for a very good price, and shipping to Canada is decent. When Scott spotted these Nightmare Before Christmas pins, (we are HUGE Tim Burton fans by the way) I knew I had to have them and scooped them up immediately. Also their faces change depending on how you turn them.
Lastly, these patches. Actually, while they are patches they also have a sticky back to make them stickers. So you get to choose how you use them. I now have them on my laptop and they are so cute.
There was lots of options, but I have always loved Beauty & The Beast, so these were my first choice.
And there we go!
I am in love with everything that I got, and like I said, it was all on sale so I got really lucky!
