I love art. It amazes me how talented people are, how they can look at a blank sheet of paper and create something different every time. Of course there are many different forms of art, and just changing a blank sheet of paper is just one form, but either way, any form of art is spectacular.
I had been planning on decorating the wall above my desk for a while now but wasn’t really sure where to start. I already have art on the walls around the apartment from my aunt that I love, but I wanted to add a few small prints above my desk to look at as well.
It literally took me months to decide.
Finally a holiday was coming up and I decided that Scott needed some prints for his wall as well.
So I took to Etsy with Disney and Doctor Who on my mind.
There are so many incredible Etsy shops that I would have loved to buy from, but I finally narrowed it down to one. RosalisArt stood out to me because of all of the options available that would suit both my and Scott’s interests.
For Scott I got him a Freddy Krueger print, the link to check it out is here –> it is pretty cool!
We love horror movies, and Freddy is his horror love (mine is Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, in case you were wondering).
I also spotted a Doctor Who print that I knew he would love, and I was right! That print is here! We both love Doctor Who! And what a sweet quote to look at for inspiration.
He loves both of his prints.
I of course had to have a small photo shoot with the prints that I got for myself!
I knew I was on the hunt for something Beauty and The Beast, as Belle is my favorite princess. I saw this one and fell in love 🙂 I still keep singing that song every time I look at the print. This print will be hanging on the wall once I get the proper screws. The ones that came with it weren’t actually that good.
I also ended up getting the Lion King one because I over watched that movie growing up, including the second one, and what a positive motto to look at everyday. That print puts a smile on my face.
It’s safe to say that we both love our prints, and I couldn’t be happier with the choices I made!
Do you have any art decorating your walls? What is your favorite form of art?
