November has been quite a busy month. I started going back to work after a few weeks off for medical reasons. Going back to work has been weird but good. Good because I’ve missed some of my co-workers and money, and weird because since realising that I don’t love my job and I know I never will, I have been much more able to leave the job at work and not bring it home with me, which is something I have always failed miserably at. It’s a good thing I think.
There have been so many things that I’ve been loving this past month that it’s hard to make a short list of my favourites.
Even though I feel like narrowing down just a few favourites will be impossible, I shall try!
Hot chocolate. I have never been a huge hot chocolate fan. I usually have a few cups a year just for a hot beverage when I’m cold or for festive reasons. But this year for whatever reason I am just loving hot chocolate. Maybe it’s because I’ve been making it on the stove with milk and cinnamon. Either way it’s so delicious!
This mug. It’s Scott’s, and we’ve had it for as long as I can remember, but we never use it. I decided to have yogurt in it one day, and since then I have used it for soup, yogurt, hot chocolate, tea. Anything I can! It’s the perfect bowl shape, but has a handle making it perfect to hold my hot things in.
Getting festive! I am so in the Christmas spirit this year even though it will just be Scott and I and we don’t even have a tree, but all I want to do is watch Christmas movies and play in snow (which we also don’t have). Vancouver seems to make me festive!
This blog. I have had so much fun blogging this past month and a bit and I have put so much time and hard work into photos and content. I’m so happy with how much I love it and I can’t see myself stopping anytime soon. For the past hour I’ve just been listening to some of my favourite songs (I guess that’s why they call it the blues – Elton John, You make my dreams come true – Hall & Oates, I saw the sign – Ace of Base, etc) and blogged for a bit and it was so lovely and relaxing.
Thank you to all who read it!
This wine. I love a good red and this wine is so smooth and full of flavour that even my wine hating boyfriend will drink it occasionally (can’t you see how amazing I am at describing wine?). Now that I have my new amazing red wine glasses I have the perfect excuse to have a glass at night a couple times a week.
I feel like I had so many more favourites that I wanted to write about but I can’t seem to remember what they were.
Anyways, this has been a very food/drink filled favourites, but hey, everyone loves food and drink so why not.
