When I look back through my photos, one thing always seems to jump out at me. Every time I’m near trees, I always have to get up into the middle of the trees, and take a photo looking up to the sky.
I never noticed that this is something I am prone to do. Yet it feels so ‘me’.
There is something so calming about putting yourself in the middle of nature. Every time I feel overwhelmed and the emotions are relentless I always want to be in nature. There is no social media, I’m not in a city, I don’t hear horns blaring or sirens screaming.
It is so peaceful.
This photo here was taken when I was in Australia. Some friends and I were walking in the Dandenong Ranges and of course, as soon as I saw this space, I got into the middle, looked up to the sky, and shot this photo.
I love how when I’m surrounded by giant trees, I feel so small. It’s as if nature is reminding me that my problems won’t last forever, whatever is going on is, in reality, so tiny, so just look up at how big the sky is and feel the peace from it.
Do you love nature?
