Can you believe that September is over? I was just talking to the receptionist at my dental office the other day about how neither of us can believe that it is now October. I’m happy because October is my favorite month, but I’m kind of left here wondering “Where did the time go?“.
Instead of doing a monthly favorites, I decided to do a round up. This post will include some of my favorite things from September, some blog posts I’ve written, and just some general chit chat!
Favorites
My first favorite is a YouTuber that I only just discovered. Her channel is called DisneyKittee and I am obsessed with her channel! I found her on my YouTube sidebar while watching Disney unboxings. I clicked onto one of her videos and quickly subscribed to her. She, as her name suggests, is all about Disney and does loads of unboxings of Disney subscription boxes. She also vlogged her recent Disney trip.
Her channel is so me, as I LOVE watching Disney subscription unboxings (I want everything inside of them!), but what makes her really special is how genuine she is. She mentioned in one video a long tailed Todd plush. Fox and the Hound is my favorite Disney movie but I had never seen this Todd plush before. I mentioned this in the comments and in her next video she gave me a shout out and showed me the Todd plush.
I thought that was so sweet of her! It made me happy that she took the time to show me Todd when she didn’t have to at all. She went out of her way for me and I really appreciate that. How sweet is she?!
Her channel is new, she has about 2000 subscribers, but I’m pretty sure that soon her subscriber count will be much higher.
She’s awesome!
Next up is this candle from Bath and Body Works. Bourbon Maple. Oh man. I am loving this scent. I originally went to get Leaves. Then realized, I don’t really like it enough to spend $25 on.
Bourbon Maple, however, is the worth the cost. I’ve only had it for a little over a week, and I’m nearly halfway done.
The only problem is that the glass is burning on one side a bit. But the scent makes up for that. A definite re-purchase for sure! I’m already wondering when I can go back to the store to get this. And maybe one more 🙂
All Things Horror And Disney. That was a bit of a weird sentence, I know. But the past month I have watched either a horror movie or a Disney movie nearly every day of the month. It’s no secret that Disney and horror movies are my form of comfort and relaxation. Now that I have a Scar plush to snuggle with and a good candle, these nights have been so much better.
September Posts
I was sick for the second half of September. The joys of working with children. So I did not get around to blogging nearly as much as I had hoped. Posts went left partially finished. Photos weren’t taken. Social media was not scheduled.
It was kind of a fail on the blogging front.
I still have a bit of a cold but overall I am feeling so much better, and October always leaves me feeling so inspired.
What’s Coming Up?
October will consist of me catching up on blog work whenever I have spare time.
Expect horror round ups, tips, a recipe here or there, and who knows what else!
As I said previously, October always leaves me feeling so excited and inspired to try new things, so now that I’m beginning to feel better, I am so excited for this month!
What are your October plans?
