I love taking photos. I’m not photographer but hey, considering the fact that my photos come from my old iPhone 5 I think they’re pretty decent. I would love to invest in a good camera one day, but for now the iPhone 5 will do. Lately I have been outside as much as possible due to the fact that Vancouver is filled with cherry blossoms. Wherever you go you are bound to come across a street lined with cherry blossoms and they are bound to make you smile!
I have had the same home screen (is that what it’s called? Or lock screen? All of my screens on my phone are the same picture haha) since two winters ago. I was walking to work and there was a bit of frost on the ground and I took a photo that ended up staying on my phone for quite a while!
As much as I loved that photo I decided that it was time for a change.
It was a spur of the moment decision, but when I was looking through the photos of the cherry blossoms I just felt so happy. If quickly looking at a photo could make me feel so happy, just imagine how happy seeing that photo often would make me feel.
So I changed the screen and now every time I look at my phone I feel so happy!
And confused. The new photo keeps really throwing me off to be honest, but when I realize that “hey, I changed my picture!” I smile and it’s so nice.
Who would have thought that something so simple, just changing your phone photo, could make you so happy? Not me, but I am so glad I changed it!
Do small, simple changes like changing a lock screen make you happy?
What is your lock screen?
