I have been reading blogs for a really long time. Like, 7 years long.
It started with a few health and fitness blogs, then I became completely addicted to travel blogs. Then soon I was reading blogs about everything you could possibly think of.
But through all this time, travel blogs were by far my favorite.
The reason that travel blogs were always my favorite was because I adore travel. Travel is probably my favorite thing in the entire world, like, words cannot even begin to describe how much I love travel. I became addicted to the places these travel bloggers were going, spending days researching every place the travel bloggers went, imagining my own trips. I devoured as many blog posts on places as I could, specifically about Australia as I knew I was moving there after graduation.
Even though I have always loved writing and so many people told me I should start a blog of my own, I was terrified. Terrified of putting myself out there, terrified of being judged, terrified of not being as good as the travel blogger pros already out there. I wondered if I could start a lifestyle blog with a strong focus on travel.
I wondered if there was somewhere on the internet I could fit.
Enter Travel Blog Success.
I had heard travel bloggers sing poetry about Travel Blog Success, and how without it they could never have got to where they were in their professions.
I knew that Travel Blog Success was a course, and that there was a Facebook group for those enrolled in the course. But that’s really all I knew.
After finally taking the leap and starting my own blog last October, I still always had Travel Blog Success (or better know as TBS) in the back of my mind, wondering where this course could take me and my blog.
The TBS main course is $447, so that price on top of the costs of owning and running this blog just didn’t make sense to me.
I waited (im)patiently, and finally learned from other travel bloggers that there was a TBS sale!
Since I had been saving for a sale, I knew the time to purchase this course was now.
It was by far the best blogging decision I ever could have made.
By signing up for the main course, I was granted access to the Facebook group I had heard so much about and can tell you, as a blogger, or even just as a traveler, this Facebook group is worth the money alone. Every day there are bloggers asking each other questions that I never would have thought to ask, or thought even related to me. I learn so much from other bloggers and from professionals every single day that helps me run this blog and not make rookie mistakes that I would have otherwise made if not part of that group.
If anything ever goes wrong on this blog and I’m about to have a panic attack and cry, I can just search through the Facebook group or check out the main TBS course and so far I have always found my answer.
The amount of issues that have been solved for me because someone else has already experienced this issue, is invaluable.
Along with the main TBS course there are several other courses that are available for purchase. These courses are from other TBS members, and relate to every blogger, whether you are a travel blogger or not.
I personally have been eyeing a course written by Amanda from A Dangerous Business, about working with brands. I know how successful of a blogger she is, and the fact that she wrote a course for TBS members in incredible.
Something else that is SO helpful is the fact that through out the year there are webinars that I can sign up for to learn more about a certain area of the industry. I recently participated in a webinar about building brand partnerships from the Head of Customer service from a company and learned things I would never have learned if I was not a part of the TBS community.
There is also an opportunity board for all members to check out that lists job opportunities relevant to travel and bloggers, along with major discounts on things all bloggers need, such as web hosting and blogging conferences, and many other discounts.
I have not yet attended a blog conference, but the TBS community are all incredible people and really make me want to go! I know that when I finally do attend my first conference there will be members of this community there to help me learn the ropes, and a nice discount on top of that!
I cannot stress enough how much I have learned since becoming a member of Travel Blog Success, and how excited I am to be learning more, through more courses, webinars, conferences and the incredible Facebook group.
You do not have to be a travel blogger to learn something from this course. I blog a lot about travel, but I am not solely a travel blogger, yet I am constantly learning something new pretty much every single day that is relevant to my blog and where I want it to go.
Without this course I would have made so many mistakes and my blog would not be where it is today without Travel Blog Success.
The reason I decided to share this magical course with you is because from today until September 30th at 11:59 p.m EST all of the courses available with Travel Blog Success are 35% off!!!! This is such an incredible deal and one I think every blogger should take advantage of!
Note, there are affiliate links in this post, which, if you purchase the TBS course, at no extra cost to you will earn me a small commission. As always though, all opinions are my own, and I cannot recommend Travel Blog Success to all bloggers enough.
