Weekend Recap
Hello everyone!
I Hope everyone had a great weekend.
I somehow managed to have the weekend off, which, for someone who works retail, is quite rare; especially before Christmas!
So I tried to utilize my time this weekend as much as I could.
The weekend went by way too fast though, just saying…
So Friday I worked, and then had to go to the doctors afterwards for a prescription refill. I have asthma and my inhalers were expired…whoops. Afterwards I met up with Scott and we went home and watched Home Alone 2. I loved it of course, as I do every year.
After Home Alone 2 we watched F is for Family, a new adult cartoon show on Netflix staring Bill Burr, Laura Dern, Justin Long and Sam Rockwell.
Fun fact, Sam Rockwell was my first celebrity crush.
It’s only 6 episodes but we both really enjoy it.
Saturday we watched a few more episodes of F is for Family, and then Scott headed to work.
I used this time to wrap Christmas presents and watched Home Alone 3, Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Year without a Santa Clause (my favourite Christmas movie!)
When Scott got home we watched Scrubs and had some late night pasta. Neither of us could sleep a few hours later, I blame eating pasta too late.
On Sunday Scott had to work, so I picked up some things for Christmas dinner. I got a few things for a cracker, meat and cheese plate, some sweet potatoes, and some Christmas cookie things. I’m still not positive what to make with the sweet potatoes or what veggies to service. There are too many options!
I had some fruit and toast, with blueberry green tea for breakfast. So good! I bought a bad mango a few months ago and since then have been paranoid about mangos, but the mango in this fruit cup was so good. I think I’m back on the mango train.
Afterwards I washed my hair (fun times) watched some of my subscriptions on YouTube (I am SO far behind on everyone’s Vlogmas) and put a hot water bottle on my back, because I’m pretty sure I have a painful knot near the bottom of my back.
Sorry, TMI.
We then watched Christmas with the Kranks while eating a sausage in a bun for dinner, and then just watched some Netflix before bed!
It was such a lovely relaxing weekend off. Sunday’s are my favourite day of the week, so having a Sunday off is always the best!
I planned some blog stuff, and edited some photos, and just watched lots of movies!
Oh, and I finally bought some Half Baked Ben and Jerry’s, which is my favourite. I haven’t had it in a year and a half because I never buy ice cream, but it was on sale, and it was the only one left.
It was clearly a sign I was meant to buy it.
What did you do this weekend?!
What a productive weekend! I feel like everyone is on a Christmas movie streak and I haven’t watched a single one!
I didn’t get up to too much over the weekend, just had a very chill weekend at home.
Chill weekends at home are the best!
