Hello friends. It has been a few weeks since I’ve published a post. This wasn’t my intention, but things have been pretty busy around here.
I feel like that’s such a lame excuse, but I have had such an awesome few weeks that finding time to sit down and blog wasn’t really happening.
For starts, I worked a bit of extra hours, which may not sound like much since I’m a nanny, but guys, I’m a nanny. Children are wonderful but can be exhausting. So even though working those extra hours were lots of fun by the time I got home all I wanted to do was make food and relax by watching Netflix or YouTube.
I’ve had lots of really yummy meals this past month! I had planned to do a whole separate post on them, but then I forgot to take photos of most meals. Whoops!
I went on a kale and purple cabbage kick. Seriously, they go so well together. I used to hate kale but recently I’ve really come around to it. Dare I say, I even crave it.
Who am I?!
Scott and I spent a day going to Science World, which I will hopefully write up a post on. The OMNIMAX theatre was incredible!
I won tickets to a show at Yuk Yuk’s, so we invited our friend and had a night out there. It was lots of fun and it’s always awesome to support the comics. I ended up getting their falafel burger. Oh man, it was delicious!
Scott and I ended up buying a bunch of horror movies from our favorite movie store. Well, it isn’t actually a movie store, but a toy store that has a huge section of movies in the back. Seriously, there are hundreds. So we have spent the last couple of weeks slowly making our way through our new haul.
To change up the horror nights, Scott bought us all of the Beverly Hills Cop movies. I had never seen them before but they were so good! Eddie Murphy has such a distinct laugh, and Judge Reinhold looks so young in them.
I have the next four days off work for Easter so I’m hoping to finally catch up a bit on the blog and spend some time just relaxing. I’ve gotten so into Billy Blanks Tae Bo workouts again. I used to do these as a teenager! So I’ll throw a few of those into the next few days as well.
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend!
