Sweet Potato Black Bean Burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed sweet potato
  • 1/2 cup oats ground up so almost like a flour
  • 1.5 cups cooked brown rice
  • 1/2 can mashed black beans
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mash black beans in a large mixing bowl.

  2. Add rest of ingredients to bowl.

  3. Mix well with hands.

  4. Measure out patties in 1/4 cup. Or size to your buns.

  5. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes, flipping half way through.

  6. Top with your desired topping and enjoy!
